Should I ask him if he’s actually interested?
I have been dating a resident surgeon for a couple months. We haven’t talked about exclusivity or DTR, which is fine. He’s had to cancel dates on 4 occasions but always is very apologetic. He’s very bad at texting lately, before I used to get a response pretty fast, although he does tell me all the time that he’s extremely sleep deprived and working insane hours.
My question is this: should I text him and ask if he is actually interested/has enough time to continue to date me? I’m feeling a connection but I don’t know if I want to get further invested without knowing if he is actually interested.
