This is something that has happened to me 3 times and it just happened again today. There will be a woman who approaches me, asks if I’m single, etc clearly trying to hit on me. I’ll kindly decline, and they say something like “sorry I didn’t know you were gay.” Or “You must be gay” and I’m like just because I said no doesn’t mean I’m gay lmao. Do other men tend to experience this as well? Why is the assumption that I’m gay?
