As the title suggests , I was hoping to open up a discussion on the thoughts of men and women around this topic. My one year relationship was rocky but ecstasy when it was working well. We must have broken up 20 times in a year but we were still crazy about each other. There were a lot of problems but we worked through them . Culturally we were worlds apart trying to find common ground. Tonight, while talking about another couples issues surrounding divorce , I mentioned the male who is rich should have gotten a prenup. Her view was from the cultural perspective of Vietnam. People don’t get prenups where she is from , and she wants a marriage build on love and trust. Although she makes way more money than me (she works for the un) , I have some properties and some unmentionable things that set me up to greatly surpass her in a few years. Either way, my argument was that if she really loves me it shouldn’t matter. Hers was if you really love me you don’t need one. She took an Uber home and left me tonight because we couldn’t come to an agreement. I’m sure this happens often and I wanted to hear the communities input on this.
