Of single daters, 67% said their dating lives were going "not too/not at all well," and 75% said it was hard to find people to date within the past year. This was pre-pandemic.
Another interesting stat: 50% of single adults aren't even looking for any kind of dating, either casual or serious.
I see too many posts from you guys feeling alone; some of you have taken the spartan stance to say it's your fault you're alone, and you just need to work out, be confident, etc. Etc. I hate both views.
The truth is, dating is hard, and finding someone takes patience and authenticity. Being buff doesn't help you connect with someone who understands you or make you a more complete person. Being fit, having good hygiene, pursuing your goals are all good things you should do regardless, but I don't want to see y'all beating yourself up over this like it's the reason you're lonely.
Have patience and enjoy life, friends. :)
