I'm dating this guy (4 dates so far) and we message a little every day between dates. What I don't like is he will message me saying 'hey, how's your day going?', he then takes hours to reply, we send one or two messages back and then no response for about 24 hours.
Totally understand he may be busy but this just gives off the impression that he isn't that interested in me but he says he is. I would actually prefer he didn't message me at all. I am starting to be short with my messages because he takes so long to respond there isn't even any point to being detailed. The conversation is dead by the time he replies.
Overall, I feel we lose momentum, I become cautious as I start to question if he is into this and whether we are even compatible.
What do you think?
More Information: To clarify we are both looking for a relationship have been seeing each other for about a month (I am seeing someone else as well and am fine if he does). I definitely feel he is into me when we are together. I feel like he texted a bit during the first week before our first date but then it became like this.
