Hooked up with my ex on NYE, do I need to tell the guy I am interested in?

I (24F) slept with my ex last night, but I am developing feelings for someone else. I’m gonna try to make this short. So I flew to my home state over the holidays and met this great guy. We hung out two times. The first time we hung out it was just friendly and we were just getting to know each other. The second time was when we both let ourselves be vulnerable and ended up connecting on a pretty deep level. We didn’t have sex but we cuddled/made out. We have a lot of chemistry and he is honestly one of the most genuine/communicative guys I’ve met. We agreed to keep in touch since I will be making frequent trips home and then eventually move back there in the summer. So right now we live in two different states across the country but I know he is really into me and so am I. We are always chatting on text or Instagram and it’s all just been really organic. Well fast forward to last night, I’m back in town where I live and decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve with some friends including an ex (it was a very short lived relationship, he ended up screwing me over and dropped me for another woman). I have absolutely no feelings for the ex anymore but we were both pretty drunk and it just happened. Well now I feel really guilty. I know me and the guy back home aren’t even in a relationship, I know we’ve only hung out twice, but I can’t help but feel like I betrayed him. He likes me a lot and I feel like he has an image of me as this sweet girl (which I am!) but doing what I did doesn’t make me feel that way. I just really like him. Do I need to tell him what happened the next time I see him? It will be in a few weeks. Part of me thinks it’s none of his business because while we are interested in each other, we still hardly know each other. I don’t feel like I did anything wrong necessarily, but I feel like I ruined the innocence and purity of what could potentially be a relationship down the line. Thoughts?
