I've been chatting with this guy that asked for my number for about a week now and I really like him. We text, and he has called a couple times to talk. The conversations are great, we have a ridiculous amount of things in common and have flirted back and forth! We talked about books and he said he knew some good bookstores that he would like to show me sometime. I responded by saying I'm usually free after work on weekdays after 5 and weekends are usually good for me too. I told him to let me know when he was free because I would like to go.
He hasn't asked about a specific day yet. I said I like talking to him, but joked that we might not have anything to talk about when we meet up. He then asked, "What do you want to do?" and "I'll do whatever you want." I just said "I like beer, coffee and books." Listen, I'm a very independent lady and like being a leader sometimes so I have no problem asking him out and making the plans. Thing is he seems like a pretty traditional (in the military) guy and I would prefer he would plan to make sure he's really interested in me. He also kind of already asked?
What should I do? I don't want to be pushy and mention it again. Things are going well but I just can't figure him out!
