okay so i recently met this guy through guitar. i initially approached him because i wanted someone to teach me guitar, and he offered to teach me himself. our first session ended up being around 5 hours, and after the lesson, he was the one who suggested getting coffee. his friend was there for part of it, but after his friend left, he still continued hanging out and talking to me one-on-one.
we eventually planned another session. i was the one who asked when our next session would be, but when he realized he wouldn’t be available on the day i suggested, he apologized, asked when else i was free, and gave me other options. on the day of the meetup, he also messaged me first saying he’d see me later.
the second hangout lasted around 3 hours, and funny enough, we barely even played guitar 😭 we mostly just talked. again, he initiated coffee, suggested getting street food, and asked if i had eaten. he also asked for my Spotify so we could follow each other. he then suggested that we go to a jazz club sometime because he wanted to expose me to that kind of music and said he’d let me know if there was something. i told him “i’d love that.”
now i’m trying really hard not to delulu myself because he could just be a naturally friendly/social person, and i have no idea if he acts like this with everyone. i also don’t want to confess or chase him, so i’m just trying to observe his actions for now.
from an outside perspective, does this sound purely platonic to you, or could there be some romantic interest? like, am i reading too much into this or would you also find his behavior a little 👀?
