So a little background.
Im (38M) autistic, high functioning, have depressive and anxious tendencies. I have been unemployed for 6 years following a breakdown caused by a full time job. I am 6’1 , 137kg thats about 280 lbs.
When i was at my peak of attracting women i was 23, slimmer and had a house which i have now lost.
I have had about 10 sexual partners. So its not like i haven’t kissed a girl before etc.
How do i find potential partners who will understand my situation and not dismiss me for being long term unemployed or autistic?
It feels like most of the dating pool is out of reach (in terms of a relationship) because of my situation. I feel like i face a lot prejudice/ignorance on the dating scene because of being unemployed and being autistic.
...get a job? I might be ready for that at some point but its not something i want to rush into before i am ready and am in control of my social anxiety etc. Im really working on more basic things first that i struggle with like loosing weight, making friends etc atm. Its hard to express the trauma that can be caused by rushing this.
...loose weight? Yes ive started to work on that.
