Every time I’ve unwittingly shower excessive interest in someone even just through sending too many messages or replying too quickly or investing significantly more time or effort than they are, it backfires and they seem to pull away to some degree.
How the fuck then does does excessively romantic shit like calling a girl beautiful princess and sending good morning texts and bringing flowers on the first date and getting a plane of write her name in the sky etc work? That should send girls running for the hills shouldn’t it?
We all want to feel loved and appreciated I get that, but clearly there’s something fundamental that I’m missing here.
