Hi Mid 30s male here.
Recently I got more than a few matches who have locations set as my area but in reality they live far away. After conversations on phone I learnt that they plan to move to my area for work. This is my first experience with ppl who are planning to move here already making matches. I have two questions:
1) [technical] how do apps do it? Even if I want I can only set distance radius, not exact location. These matches have locations set to my area. Are they fudging GPS coordinates?
2) [situational] At this point should I be offering them my place ? That seems very fast and unsafe. What are their expectations? Just not to be lonely when they arrive? So do I become an 'option'?
