I just downloaded match.com, paid $77 for subscription (which was accidental and I’m hoping to get a refund), and deactivated 2 hours later. I’m not sure why I keep trying online dating but I just really can’t stand it. I feel like it’s so shallow to just swipe on someone based on photos of them. I also get flooded with strange messages and likes even when I don’t have a bio. I just want to meet someone and start a life together so bad but with my job it’s impossible and I don’t have a lot of free time. I also just really don’t enjoy the entire dating part to begin with. I’m nervous to give anyone any information bc people are creepy, and every time I go on those sites I have horrible experiences. Does this happen for anyone else?
