I [M20] have been turned off by attraction when reciprocated. So I will never get with a girl who likes me. My attachment style is Fearful Avoidant/Disorganized.
I have always played oblivious to advances because I don’t like it. I feel they will hook up with me, take my v card and run away. I’m not a man. Or manly enough. It’s just the brutal truth. I was raised in a house full of women. I just never saw men pursuing girls or none of that. I don’t know when to back off. Or stop talking to them. If an ex broke up with me I would always throw in “let’s be friends” that never sits well.
