If someone tells you they are not interested in you, respect that without demanding explanations.

I’ve been actively dating for a couple of years now. I’ve had my share of rejections and never once ask “why don’t you want to see me again.”Some people just don’t click, chemistry isn’t there, they’re more interested in pursuing other potential partners. Whatever the case may be, I don’t ask. I move on.

When I inform someone I am no longer interested in them, I wish they would respect that instead of demanding all sorts of explanations. It’s happened several times. I don’t think it’s helpful because we are all adults with certain beliefs and characters not up for discussion. Should I have to explain this to whomever asks?
