Is it wrong for his guy friends to speak on behalf of him if he’s blocked?

I already blocked his friends, however this guy I use to mess around with I ended up blocking him for personal reasons however his friends still followed me and would message me when the guy wanted to be in contact again.

My friends said “you let him speak on his behalf?”

I blocked them all. I mean I didn’t see anything wrong with the friends following me it just became too much of a distraction
