I (f23) have a crush on this guy at work (m29) who works for another company but we share office space. I’ve worked with him for 6 months but got close with him the past 3 months after I broke up with my ex. I always thought he fancied me because he would buy me lunch, bring me cookies randomly, check in when I wasn’t feeling well, tease me, help me apartment search, compliment my looks and my work, always wanted to know what I was doing, and we never worked together so we got close fast. However he has been going on dates for 2 months with this girl (his boss told me they met on Bumble and she barely speaks English and is 25 she moved to US 3 years ago) that he only had mentioned once to me a few months ago and now he made a joke about how I should date my coworkers son (who is only 20) I’m 99% sure he was teasing me which he loves to do but I still took that as a hint that he thinks of me as a young kid and more of a sister maybe. I dated a guy who was 28 when i was 22 so to me age isn’t a big deal- i actually like older guys. My question is: do you think I still have a chance with him? If so, how do I get him to think of me as someone not as young and innocent but as a potential romantic partner? And no I’m not going to tell him I like him that could get awkward!
TLDR; crush thinks of me as younger, how do I get him to think of me as a potential love interest?
